OPPO is expected to launch the Reno15 Pro Mini, a compact mid-ranger without compromises

According to gadget research and news website 91mobiles, OPPO is preparing to launch the first compact phone in the Reno Series, the Reno15 Pro Mini. This model differs from earlier reports suggesting a Reno15 Mini, as it is a “Pro Mini” version with minimal compromises.

An industry source indicated that the device will feature a premium design with a glass back, measuring just 7.99mm thick. It will have an IP66/67/68/69 dust and water resistance rating, weigh 187 grams, and sport a 6.32-inch AMOLED screen with ultra-thin 1.6mm bezels.

Details about the phone are still limited, but it is expected to share some specifications with the regular Reno15 Pro, albeit in a smaller form factor. For reference, the standard Reno15 Pro includes a 6.78-inch flat AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a resolution of 2772 x 1272, a 4nm Dimensity 8450 SoC, a 6,500mAh battery with 80W charging, and a camera setup featuring a 200MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, a 50MP 3.5x periscope zoom camera, and a 50MP selfie camera capable of 4K video recording.

Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
