Following the debut of the compact Vivo S50 Pro Mini, Vivo has now introduced the standard Vivo S50 model.

The device highlights a capable camera system, a large battery, and a high-performance chip. The design features a flat front and back with rounded corners, reminiscent of earlier iPhone models. It comes in four colors: Space Black, Confession White, Serene Blue, and Inspirational Purple. Additionally, the Vivo S50 includes IP68 dust and water resistance for enhanced protection.

The display consists of a 6.59-inch AMOLED screen with a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness up to 5000 nits. It is powered by a 3.0GHz 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, with RAM options up to 16GB and storage options reaching 512GB.

The phone is equipped with a 6,500mAh battery that supports USB-C 90W wired FlashCharging. The camera system includes a triple rear setup: a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP 3x periscope telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with a 110-degree field of view. The front camera is also 50MP with autofocus.

Other features include stereo speakers, WiFi 6, dual SIM support, Bluetooth 5.4, and GPS.

Pricing in China is as follows (converted to PHP without tax):
– Vivo S50 12GB/256GB: CNY 2,999 (around PHP 25,000)
– Vivo S50 16GB/256GB: CNY 3,299 (around PHP 27,500)
– Vivo S50 12GB/512GB: CNY 3,399 (around PHP 28,300)

The Vivo S50 will be available in China starting December 19, with no confirmation yet regarding its release in the Philippines.
