The Redmi Note 15 Pro+, which was introduced a few months ago in China, has now made its international debut. However, the international model has some differences in specifications compared to its Chinese counterpart.
Notably, the Chinese version features a 50MP primary camera, while the international model is equipped with a 200MP HPE primary camera that offers 2x and 4x in-sensor zoom. This camera also supports five focal lengths, ranging from 23mm to 92mm. The international version retains the 8MP ultrawide camera found in the Chinese model but does not include the 50MP telephoto lens.
In terms of battery, the Chinese Redmi Note 15 Pro+ has a 7,000 mAh battery with 90W charging support, whereas the international version has a 6,500 mAh Si/C cell with 100W charging support and 22.5W reverse wired charging. Despite having a smaller battery, the international model is thicker than the Chinese version.
The display specifications are largely the same, with a diagonal size of 6.83 inches, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and peak brightness of 3,200 nits. However, the resolution differs slightly, with the international model at 2,772×1,280 pixels compared to 2,772×1,220 pixels for the Chinese model. Additionally, the international version uses Corning’s Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for display protection, unlike the Dragon Crystal Glass used in the Chinese model.
Both versions share the same chipset, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, and a 32MP selfie camera. They also include HyperOS, Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, and NFC.
Other features of the international Redmi Note 15 Pro+ include an in-display fingerprint scanner, dual speakers, support for Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio, eSIM capability, and various IP ratings (IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K). The device also supports Xiaomi’s Offline Communication for device-to-device voice communication without network coverage and includes the Xiaomi Surge T1S Tuner for improved signal performance across various networks.
The international Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is available in Black, Mocha Brown, and Glacier Blue colors, with three memory options: 8GB/128GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB. Pricing and availability details for the international model have not yet been announced.
