vivo V70's FCC certification reveals new details

The vivo V70 has recently received certification for sale in India and has also passed through the FCC, indicating its upcoming global launch. The FCC certification confirms that the device will run Android 16, likely with OriginOS 6 on top.

The V70 will support 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, and NFC. One variant is expected to feature 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. A recent Geekbench listing suggests there will also be an option with 8GB of RAM, powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC.

In addition to the different chipset, the V70 is anticipated to be a rebranded version of the S50, which was officially announced in China recently. If this is accurate, the V70 will likely have a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1260×2750 and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to include a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS, an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 50MP front-facing camera, and a 6,500mAh battery with 90W wired charging support.
