This claim comes from tipster Fixed Focus Digital, who stated on Weibo that the iPhone Air 2 is now confirmed to launch at the fall iPhone event in September 2026.
Additionally, the tipster mentioned that the iPhone 17e is also on track for a spring launch and has entered mass production.
Previous reports suggested that Apple was expected to unveil the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and the iPhone Fold in September next year. The second-generation iPhone Air, along with the iPhone 18 and iPhone 17e, was reportedly slated for a spring 2027 debut.
