The HONOR Win series is set to launch in China on December 26th. One of its standout features is the impressive 10,000mAh battery, positioning it as a significant advancement in smartphone battery technology. HONOR appears to be targeting gaming enthusiasts with these devices. However, recent leaks indicate that the series may also offer a commendable camera experience.
According to a tipster on Weibo, the HONOR Win will include triple camera sensors, as seen in recent hands-on images. In contrast, the Win RT is expected to have dual sensors. Both models could feature a 50MP Sony LYT-700 primary rear camera and a 12MP ultrawide lens. The standard Win is rumored to also include a 50MP telephoto Sony IMX856 lens with 3x optical zoom. Additionally, both the Win and Win RT might come equipped with a 50MP front camera for selfies.
Alongside the camera features, the tipster shared details about other hardware aspects. The HONOR Win and Win RT are likely to possess a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor for security, dual speakers, and support for 5,920Hz PWM dimming.
The anticipation surrounding the HONOR Win series is largely fueled by its remarkable 10,000mAh battery, a significant leap as smartphones with 7,000mAh and 8,000mAh batteries have only recently become available. Notably, despite the large battery, the HONOR Win phones are reportedly not heavy or bulky, resembling typical smartphones in design.
In addition to the battery, the HONOR Win could be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, while the Win RT is expected to incorporate the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. Other specifications may include 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM, UFS 4.1 storage, 100W fast charging, and an OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution. More details will emerge upon the series’ debut.
