realme has begun teasing the features of the upcoming realme 16 Pro series, with a significant focus on photography.
The company recently unveiled the realme LumaColor IMAGE, set to launch with the new realme 16 Pro series.
Developed in collaboration with TUV Rheinland, this technology showcases realme’s ambition in portrait imaging and underscores the brand’s dedication to making advanced mobile photography accessible to young users globally.
The LumaColor IMAGE is expected to deliver the “best-in-segment portrait experience,” enabling users to capture “more authentic and emotionally resonant portraits” featuring layered lighting, rich atmospheres, and natural skin tones.
It will introduce an innovative approach to light and color processing that stands apart from competitors. According to realme, “unlike traditional techniques that separate light and color—leading to overexposure or color distortion—the LumaColor IMAGE intelligently harmonizes them, producing natural and balanced skin tones, a cohesive person-scene relationship, and atmospheric lighting and shadows.”
LumaColor IMAGE includes full-dimensional skin tone optimization and a more immersive optical depth-of-field fusion blur.
Additional details about the LumaColor IMAGE will be disclosed alongside the launch of the new phones.
