HUAWEI has expanded its tablet lineup in China with the launch of the MatePad 11.5 (2026), introduced alongside the nova 15 series. Aimed at students, casual users, and entertainment purposes, the tablet is available in Standard, Soft Light, and Full Network versions.
The device features an 11.5-inch 2.5K display with an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, providing smooth scrolling and sharp visuals. The Soft Light version includes anti-glare technology and eye-care features to reduce eye strain, making it suitable for extended study sessions. With a slim 6.1mm metal body, it weighs just 515 grams.
The MatePad 11.5 runs on HarmonyOS 5.1 and is powered by Kirin processors, offering configurations with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. A large 10,100mAh battery supports up to 14 hours of video playback and features 40W fast charging. Other highlights include quad speakers, smart study tools, and stylus support.
In China, pricing starts at CNY 1,799 for the Standard 8GB/128GB model. The Soft Light versions are priced up to CNY 2,599, while the Full Network model costs CNY 2,799. Pre-orders are currently open, with sales set to begin on December 25, 2025. Official details about local availability have not yet been announced.
