HUAWEI has announced the nova 15 series in China, introducing three new smartphones: the nova 15, nova 15 Pro, and nova 15 Ultra. Continuing its three-model strategy from the previous year, HUAWEI aims to provide users with a range of options based on their requirements and budget.
The nova 15 is the entry-level model, featuring a 6.7-inch OLED display, a sleek design, and a substantial 6,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging. It is powered by the Kirin 8020 chip, emphasizing long battery life and solid camera capabilities, including a 50MP main and a 50MP selfie camera.
The nova 15 Pro steps up with a larger 6.84-inch LTPO OLED display, offering a fluid 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 4,000 nits. It runs on the Kirin 9020S processor and includes a 6,500mAh battery. The camera enhancements feature a robust telephoto lens and an ultra-wide macro camera for diverse photography options.
At the top of the lineup, the nova 15 Ultra is tailored for power users. It includes IP68 and IP69 water resistance ratings, a variable-aperture 50MP main camera, a 50MP periscope zoom lens, and both wired and wireless fast charging capacities. Additionally, it supports advanced satellite features for messaging and calls.
All three models operate on HarmonyOS 6, which includes enhanced AI tools, simpler sharing options, and improved connectivity.
The nova 15 series is currently available in China. Pricing starts at CNY 2,699 for the nova 15, CNY 3,499 for the nova 15 Pro, and goes up to CNY 4,999 for the nova 15 Ultra.
