The Redmi Note 15 5G is positioned above the Redmi Note 15 (4G) in Xiaomi’s lineup, with three Pro models above it.
The device comes with a 45W charger, a USB-A to USB-C cable, and a case. It is available in several configurations, including 6/128GB, 8/256GB, 8/512GB, and 12/512GB options.
Compared to the Redmi Note 15, the Note 15 5G offers enhanced durability with an IP66 rating for dust and water resistance, while the 4G model has an IP64 rating. The 5G version is also slimmer and lighter due to its smaller 5,520mAh battery, which is less than the 6,000mAh found in the 4G model. Charging speeds vary as well, with the 5G model supporting 45W compared to 33W for the 4G.
Camera specifications differ as well. Both models feature a 108MP main camera, but the Redmi Note 15 5G includes an 8MP ultrawide camera, while the 4G version has a 2MP depth-sensing camera.
The display on the Redmi Note 15 5G is substantial at 6.77 inches, capable of reaching brightness levels up to 3,200 nits. It refreshes at up to 120Hz with a touch sampling rate of 240Hz, ensuring smooth performance.
The device has a comfortable grip with curved edges on both the front and back, providing a slimmer feel. This design might be preferred by users who enjoy a rounded aesthetic over flatter designs.
The Redmi Note 15 5G will be available in Glacier Blue, Mist Purple, and Black. Prices begin at €279 or £199 for the 6/128GB variant, with pre-orders anticipated to commence on January 5.
