Review of the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G Smartphone

Redmi’s Note 15 series has made its global debut, and it presents a range of options that can be quite confusing. The lineup includes the Redmi Note 15, Redmi Note 15 5G, Redmi Note 15 Pro, Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G (the focus of this article), and Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G. We have all five models available for review, complete with unboxing, in-depth coverage, and videos.

Let’s begin with the unboxing of the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G. It comes with a full retail package, which includes a 45W charger, a USB-A to USB-C cable, a grey silicone case, and the device itself.

Our review unit is in the Titanium Color variant, but it is also available in Glacier Blue, Mist Purple, and Black.

The Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G features the largest battery in the series at 6,580mAh. The other two Pro models, the non-5G and Pro+ 5G, both have slightly smaller batteries at 6,500mAh. Charging speed is capped at 45W.

In terms of design, the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G is the least curved model among the Pro variants, with only slight slopes on the front and rear edges. In contrast, the other Pro models exhibit more curvature. The flat frame and glass panels of the Pro 5G give it a feel similar to recent flagship devices.

Similar to the Pro+, the Pro 5G boasts the largest display in the series at 6.83 inches. However, the difference in size compared to the 6.77-inch displays of the other models is minimal. It also features Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for added protection.

Additionally, the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G and Pro+ 5G are the only models in the series that offer increased durability, with IP66/68/69/69K ratings, while the Redmi Note 15 Pro has a lower IP65 rating.

The processing power for the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G comes from the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7400-Ultra chipset, which is available with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM. Storage options include 256GB and 512GB.
