HUAWEI has officially launched the nova 15 in China, alongside its Ultra model. The nova 15 focuses on imaging capabilities, battery performance, and AI features integrated within its HarmonyOS platform.
The device is available in Vibrant Green, Elegant Purple, Zero White, and Phantom Black. It features aluminum silicate glass for durability, obtaining SGS five-star certification for drop and impact resistance. The nova 15 also has an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.
The phone has a 6.7-inch flat OLED display with a resolution of 2412 x 1084, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. It is capable of displaying 10.7 billion colors with P3 wide color gamut support. Powered by the Kirin 8020 processor, it offers 256GB and 512GB storage options.
The device features a 6,000mAh silicon anode battery that supports 100W Huawei SuperCharge Turbo fast charging. Its rear camera system, called the Red Maple imaging system, includes a 50MP main camera, a 12MP telephoto portrait lens, and a 1.5MP multispectral color sensor. The front-facing camera is a 50MP sensor with a wide-angle lens, also supporting 4K video recording.
Additional features include intelligent sensing controls for AI air gestures and payments. Connectivity options include WiFi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, GPS, Beidou, Galileo, NavIC, and dual SIM. The device runs on HarmonyOS 6.0.
