AirPods Pro 3 Mark Down: Major Price Reduction After Just 3 Months on the Market

Apple has released the new AirPods Pro 3, now available for $199.49 on Amazon, a reduction from the regular price of $249. This discount of over $50 comes shortly after their September launch, representing one of the first price cuts on these flagship wireless earbuds. For those considering an upgrade or seeking premium earbuds with advanced features, this post-holiday deal presents valuable savings.

The AirPods Pro 3 show a marked improvement over their predecessor, providing double the active noise cancellation compared to the AirPods Pro 2. Apple claims they deliver the best ANC of any in-ear wireless headphones, effectively blocking out twice as much ambient noise as the previous generation, and four times more than the original AirPods Pro. Enhanced foam-infused ear tips contribute to better passive isolation, while ultra-low noise microphones and advanced computational audio collaborate to create an exceptionally quiet listening environment.

Sound quality is significantly enhanced with a newly engineered multiport acoustic architecture. This redesign improves bass response, widens the soundstage for clearer instrument separation, and delivers vibrant vocals for music, shows, and calls. The next-generation Adaptive EQ tailors the sound profile to individual ear shapes in real-time, optimizing the listening experience.

Battery life has also seen a substantial boost, with up to 8 hours of listening time per charge when ANC is enabled, and up to 10 hours in Transparency mode using the Hearing Aid feature. The charging case extends total playback to 24 hours, and a quick five-minute charge offers about an hour of listening time for those on the go.

In addition to audio enhancements, the AirPods Pro 3 introduce innovative health tracking features. A built-in heart rate sensor uses infrared light to monitor heart rate and calories burned during workouts, without the need for an Apple Watch. The Hearing Aid feature includes automatic Conversation Boost for easier communication, and users can perform a clinically validated hearing test directly from their iPhones.

The redesigned earbuds come with five ear tip sizes, including a new XXS option for smaller ears, ensuring a comfortable and secure fit during physical activities. With an upgraded IP57 water resistance rating, they can withstand heavy sweating and light rain. Additionally, Apple’s Live Translation feature allows real-time communication across different languages, while Spatial Audio with head tracking creates an immersive listening experience.

At $199.49, the AirPods Pro 3 offer more features than many competing earbuds in the same price range, especially with their health monitoring capabilities and leading noise cancellation technology.
