Chinese mobile company OPPO has officially introduced its latest super-slim mid-range tablet, the OPPO Pad Air 5.
The OPPO Pad Air 5 features a thin design, measuring 6.83 mm and weighing between 597 to 599 grams depending on the model. The tablet boasts a 12.1-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 540Hz touch sampling rate, and a resolution of 2800 x 1980 pixels (2.8K). It achieves a peak brightness of 900 nits and covers 98 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut.
For eye care, it has been certified by TÜV Rheinland for Intelligent Eye Care Protection, incorporating technologies like Full Brightness DC Dimming and Hardware-Level Low Blue Light.
Internally, the OPPO Pad Air 5 is powered by a 2.6GHz MTK 4nm Dimensity 7300-Ultra chipset paired with a Mali-G615 MP2 GPU. It offers configurations of 8GB/12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The device is equipped with a hefty 10,050mAh battery that supports USB-C 33W SUPERVOOC fast charging.
In terms of photography, it features an 8MP main camera and an 8MP front-facing camera capable of recording video in 1080p. Connectivity options include WiFi 6, optional 5G, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, and QZSS. The tablet runs on Android 16, layered with ColorOS 16.
