G-Mode, a Japanese publisher focused on reviving old feature phone games, has announced the release of the mobile-exclusive Armored Core: Mobile 3 for Nintendo Switch and Windows (via Steam) through its G-Mode Archives+ initiative. Developed in collaboration with FromSoftware, this version will be a direct port and will not feature any achievements or additional language options beyond what was available in the original release, which was exclusively in Japanese.
Originally released on January 25, 2007, for feature phones, Armored Core: Mobile 3 condenses the franchise’s core gameplay. Players can customize their mechs to meet mission requirements, which involve attacking and defending key objectives across various levels.
Although Armored Core: Mobile 3’s gameplay is simpler than that of more recent PC and console versions, it offers players insight into the story events that take place between Armored Core: Nexus and its sequel, Armored Core: Last Raven. This context may be particularly appealing to players wishing to grasp the complete narrative leading up to the conclusion of Armored Core 3’s storyline.
Armored Core: Mobile 3 is expected to be released soon for Nintendo Switch and Windows (Steam).
