Prominent Chinese leaker Digital Chat Station has revealed that HONOR is developing a new mid-range smartphone featuring a substantial battery capacity. According to the information shared, the device is expected to include the upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 8500 SoC and a 10,000mAh battery. It has reportedly entered the new product introduction stage.
This potential smartphone could be the first mass-produced device with a 10,000mAh battery that maintains a thickness of less than 8.5mm, marking a significant advancement in battery technology for slim devices. HONOR’s previous largest battery was 8,300mAh, found in the HONOR X70.
The new phone may utilize an upgraded version of silicon-carbon technology. While the official name has not yet been disclosed, it could be a successor to the HONOR Power, possibly called HONOR Power 2. The launch is anticipated in early 2026.
