Xiaomi has begun to tease its upcoming midrange smartphone, the Redmi Note 15 5G, which appears to emphasize the display features. According to a newly discovered microsite, the phone will come with a 6.77-inch curved AMOLED display boasting a 120Hz refresh rate. This will enhance the fluidity of scrolling and gaming experiences. Additionally, it will support Hydro Touch 2.0, ensuring responsiveness even when the screen is wet.
A standout feature of the display is its impressive peak brightness of 3200 nits, typically found in flagship models. Moreover, the device will carry TÜV Triple Eye Care certification to help minimize eye strain during prolonged use. Although not officially confirmed, it is expected that the display will have an FHD+ resolution.
The Redmi Note 15 5G is anticipated to launch in India on January 6, 2026. It is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and equipped with a 5,520mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging. The starting price is expected to be Rs. 22,999.
