Realme will launch the 16 Pro and 16 Pro+ on January 6. Both devices will feature a 200MP main camera, while the 16 Pro+ will also include a telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom.
The main camera utilizes Samsung’s HP5 sensor, which is 1/1.56 inches in size and has an f/1.8 aperture. The Pro+’s telephoto camera is equipped with Samsung’s JN5 sensor. Additionally, the Pro+ will have an ultrawide camera, providing a comprehensive imaging system that supports focal lengths from 0.6x to 120x. This setup is designed for versatility in portrait, street, and long-range photography.
The 200MP main camera features full-pixel auto zoom and lossless zoom options at 1x and 2x. The main camera of the Realme 16 Pro+ is enhanced by the LumaColor Image algorithm, which aims to improve skin tone optimization and lighting effects, promising rich realism and vivid textures.
The device also includes HyperRAW, InstantSnap, and Anti-Distortion algorithms, intended to deliver sharper details and more stable captures while minimizing edge distortion.
The Realme 16 Pro+ supports 4K HDR video recording at various focal lengths, including dual-focal 4K at 60fps. The front camera also offers 4K 60fps capabilities.
With these advanced features, there is interest in testing the camera performance of the Realme 16 Pro series to determine if they live up to the claims made or if they are merely marketing hype.
