Huawei has unveiled its Nova 15 series in China. Alongside this launch, the company also introduced the Watch 5 10th Anniversary edition and a new color variant for the Watch GT 6.
The Huawei Watch 5 10th Anniversary edition features a special nylon braided composite strap adorned with a ‘10 Years’ logo, which is also present on the crown.
The specifications for this special edition remain identical to the standard Watch 5. It is available in both 46mm and 42mm case sizes. The smartwatch boasts an LTPO AMOLED display with Sapphire glass protection and includes the X-Tap sensor, which provides various health readings, including ECG, PPG, and HRV.
The device supports eSIM and offers over 100 sport modes. It is claimed to deliver up to 5 days of battery life with always-on display and up to 11 days in power-saving mode.
Huawei has also introduced a new Ice Blue color option for the 41mm Watch GT 6. This variant is available alongside Floating White, Flowing Purple, Phantom Black, and Saddle Palm colors. The Ice Blue version features a fluororubber strap, but there are no hardware changes compared to the other color options. The 41mm watch includes a 1.32-inch AMOLED display and the TrueSense health system, with an expected battery life of up to 7 days.
Regarding pricing, the Watch 5 10th Anniversary edition is priced at CNY 2,799 ($399) for the 42mm model and CNY 2,899 ($410) for the 46mm model. The Watch GT 6 41mm in Ice Blue is available for CNY 1,488 ($210). The new color option will be on sale in China starting January 1st, while the 10th Anniversary edition of the Watch 5 is available for immediate purchase.
