Mythwright, the publisher of TerraTech, has acquired the entire Thronefall intellectual property from Grizzly Games.
The company is currently seeking input from fans of the tower defense game on what they would like to see in the future. Mythwright also stated that it will maintain a close partnership with Doghowl Games, the publisher of the mobile version.
In a brief statement, Paul Schnepf from Grizzly Games commented on the change. He noted that their small team always felt limited in their ability to fully explore the potential of Thronefall. While players were eager for new content, Schnepf and his colleague were also interested in pursuing new projects.
He expressed excitement about the transfer of the IP to Mythwright, a team he trusts to care for both the game and its community. He looks forward to seeing how Mythwright will advance Thronefall in this new chapter.
