If you use the Find Hub app on your Android smartphone to track misplaced items, you can now also use your smartwatch for added convenience. The Find Hub app is essential for anyone utilizing Android-compatible smart tracking tags to monitor their belongings. However, accessing the app on your phone may not always be practical, especially if your phone is in your pocket or bag.
The Find Hub app has been launched for Wear OS smartwatches. Reports indicate that it has started appearing on the Wear OS version of the Play Store, although it may not be available to all users yet.
Currently, the Find Hub app on Wear OS appears to be limited to Pixel Watch models, specifically the Pixel Watch 2, Pixel Watch 3, and Pixel Watch 4, all of which run on Wear OS 6. This version may be a requirement for the app.
If Wear OS 6 is indeed the only requirement, the app could eventually be available for other smartwatches, such as Galaxy Watch 8 models that receive the Wear OS 6 update. However, the timeline for this is unclear. It has been reported that the app can be sideloaded onto watches, and it has been successfully run on devices like the OnePlus Watch 2R, which does not have the Wear OS 6 update.
