Oppo’s upcoming flagship, the Find X9 Ultra, is anticipated to feature significant upgrades over the Find X8 Ultra, including a larger battery. While the company has not yet confirmed a launch date, an Oppo executive has indicated that the phone will have a battery capacity exceeding 7,000mAh.
In a response to a comment on Weibo, Oppo’s Zhou Yibao stated that the Find X9 Ultra will include a battery larger than 7,000mAh. Given that the Find X8 Ultra is equipped with a 6,100mAh battery, this would represent a substantial improvement. There is speculation that the Find X9 Ultra could even have a 7,500mAh battery, especially since the recently launched Find X9 Pro features a 7,500mAh unit.
The Oppo Find X9 Ultra is expected to be unveiled in April 2026, powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. It is also likely to include a quad-rear camera setup, featuring a 200MP primary sensor, a 3x optical zoom periscope telephoto lens, an ultrawide lens, and a secondary periscope telephoto lens with extended optical zoom.
